This watercolour (12X16inches) is another flash from the past.  This painting was completed in the early ‘90s and demonstrates the development of the layering technique.  It also shows a full range of colours still created with three primaries.  The composition shows the lazy ‘L’ design that I tend to use a lot in my paintings.  This just means that the picture is made of horizontals with a primary vertical slightly left of centre.  I’ve used this design before as you can see if you look at the ‘watercolor’ page and scroll down to the painting called, ‘You’re Caught In The Middle’.
